90’s summer vibes ☀️

Whenever I think about my childhood, this one memory jumps first in line —

It was summer ‘96, and we were in Wisconsin at my cousin’s lake house. I was probably wearing a Lion King t shirt and jelly sandals. We spent the entire day hunting for frogs to keep as pets, and I named my chosen one Freddie Krueger. Sadly lil Freddie couldn’t make the trip with us back to California, but he clearly has never been forgotten 🐸🤣

Now that I have my mini, it’s been amazing seeing that same childhood magic through her eyes. Our summer goals are reminiscent of those simpler times
