Friday confession time! 🙊

One thing about me… I don’t like surprises.

I love reading Wikipedia plot spoilers of horror movies before I watch. When my sweet husband proposed, he made up a fake event from a fake email complete with clickable links (because he knew I’d investigate) to throw me off the trail. And when I was pregnant, I had to find out the sex of our baby ASAP (Team Green mamas, I don’t know how you do it!)

I just like to prepare myself - my heart and expectations - for what’s to come…

But life doesn’t come with a plot spoiler — and that’s something motherhood is constantly teaching me! 💖

See that blue striped blanket? I bought a skein of (now discontinued) yarn when I was hoping, waiting, wishing for a baby, not knowing when we would have a little one to wrap up in its cozy warmth. Little did I know the magic that was in store for us 💫

Here’s to staying open to the beautiful and the unexpected! (And if you ever wanna know the plot twist in a movie, hit me up! 😉)
