this has been such a nostalgic and sweet (no pun intended) collection to work on — one of my fondest memories of childhood was going with my dad to the candy store/ice cream shop every Saturday. No matter if I had a great week or a tough one (preteen struggles)… we always went, no questions asked.

I’d usually get a scoop of banana and some sour belts or peach rings… my dad would get black licorice. Just those simple little things I’ll always cherish! 🫶🏻
