“beautiful wildflower… be free and reach for the sun, live in all your colors and grow so untamed” 🌼 - @butterfliesrising

it’s been an emotional whirlwind lately — the joy of growing in motherhood with my fiercely independent little wildflower, while also navigating the immense pain and grief of having a parent with dementia

but that’s the thing about wildflowers…

they bloom in the most broken cracks of life, on the cliff edges of change…

when I feel overwhelmed and stuck in the weeds, I dig in deeper to my roots:

🌼 supportive friends and family who fill up my soul cup

🌼 my small business @beachfoamco that fuels creativity + community and spreads comfort to others

🌼 those small, everyday moments that feel like magic - i.e. deep breaths at the beach; weekly croissant dates with little T; the way she quietly sits next to my dad and holds his hand, scooching in an extra inch closer… my perspective has shifted and I’m holding on tight to the things that really matter

there are many days filled with sunshine, but I know this journey still has storms ahead…

I’ll probably lose some petals - maybe get a bent stem - but I know eventually, some day…

I’ll bloom again 🌼
