story time… 🎶💫

before little T was born, I made 3 birth playlists - “mellow” “active” and “hardcore” (insert Diplo, Young Thug, and music from my Barre class 💀)

as motherhood has often taught us, things didn’t go as planned… and the only time we busted out music was 5 mins before my unexpected c-section.

my husband skipped through the mellow playlist searching for the right song… “next, next, next” … finally a guitar riff came on and we just locked eyes and knew this was the song our daughter would be born to…

we saw them last night and definitely felt all the emotions! it was so fun tapping back into the pre-kid version of ourselves (staying out till midnight!) — although I did find a crochet hook in my back pocket! 😜
