do you believe in love at first sight? 😍

Well it sure was for the adorable Yours Truly purse pattern dropping soon from Stephanie at @eat.pray.and.crochet — my daughter is obsessed and already claimed the bigger one! 💌

…But when it came to love at first sight for my husband, Robbie? It was more like friends at first sight! We met when I was 15 and he was 17…. I was interviewing to be a reporter for our high school broadcast journalism team and he was the News Director. We eventually became super close - even going on double dates.

Flash forward a few years… he went off to college and the following year, I went to the same one.

By chance, our dorm rooms were 2 doors apart! We got dinner together every night, watched movies in our pjs, went to parties together… but still were “just friends”.

Till that next summer with a little liquid courage (sorry mom!) we finally got out of the friend zone 💖

The rest is history. 14 years later we’re still learning new things about each other and I’m so grateful to have my best friend as my forever partner. Like I said in my vows, there was never this big aha moment where I realized I’d marry him, bc even when we were just friends, he was always my future! 💖
