One of my favorite traditions each year is crocheting a special animal for my daughter’s classroom! 🐨
This photo is a throwback to last year - a fuzzy-eared koala for the sweetest teacher who’s obsessed with (…you guessed it!) koalas!

It’s the least I can do to give back to these incredible teachers — and to help provide a bit of mama-made comfort to kids who need a snuggle.
This year, I gave my daughter’s new teacher an octopus since their summer school theme was “under the sea”! Little T calls him Tiny Tim and told her classmates that her mommy’s love is inside and they can feel better by giving it a hug! 🥲
