my favorite part about markets? the human connection đź’›
it’s never just about sales… it’s the “I see you,” “I hear you,” “I get you” moments that fill my cup.
a highlight from this event: a customer bought a mini della duck for her aunt with Alzheimer’s, who used to call her “ducky.”
as some of you know, I lost my dad to dementia just three months ago… and we shared how comforting something soft and handmade can be (my dad cherished the cozy green and grey beanie I made him when he was first diagnosed)
it’s moments like this that remind me why I love doing what I do 💛
